Biography
Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill (1874–1965) was a British statesman, military leader, and writer who served as Prime Minister during World War II and is widely regarded as one of the greatest leaders of the twentieth century. Beyond his political career, Churchill was a prolific author whose works include historical narratives, memoirs, biography, and a novel. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953 for his historical and biographical writings. His early novel Savrola (1900) is his only work of fiction, a political thriller written during his military service.
